Rasam is a spicy and tangy South Indian soup or stew made using tomatoes, tamarind, and a spice mix called rasam powder. It is a staple in most South Indian households and is served with steamed rice for everyday meals
Add 2 tbsp Refined Oil, 10 leaves Curry Leaves, 0.5 tsp Mustard Seeds, 0.5 tsp Hing, 1 piece Green Chilli, 5 cloves Garlic, 5 g Ginger to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select sauté mode at 120°C for 90 seconds. The device will now sauté the ingredients.
Add 0.25 tsp Turmeric, 1.25 tsp Rasam Powder, 1.5 tbsp Tamarind Paste, 6 g Tomato and 130 g Water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now cook at 120°C for 300 seconds with automatic stirring, followed by another 180 seconds at 120°C with automatic stirring.
Add 450 ml Water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now simmer at 100°C for 8-10 minutes with automatic stirring. Season with salt to taste.
Garnish with 5 stems Coriander Leaves (mince). The dish is ready to be served.
