    Instructions

Avial is a traditional South Indian dish that is known for its medley of vegetables cooked in a coconut and yogurt-based sauce. It is a healthy and flavorful recipe that is easy to make and perfect for any occasion. Pair with Appam/Steamed Rice

    1. 1

      Add vegetables to jar

Add carrots, drumsticks, beans, ash gourd, raw banana, snake gourd, 80ml water, salt, and turmeric to The Upliance jar. Ensure the lid is secure.

    2. 2

The device will now cook the vegetables

The Upliance will cook the vegetables at low heat for 15 minutes. This ensures the vegetables are boiled until tender but retain their shape.

    3. 3

      Add coconut paste and simmer

Add the coconut paste (blended coconut, garlic, chili, cumin, and water), coconut oil, and curry leaves to The Upliance jar. The device will simmer at low heat for 10 minutes with automatic stirring to blend the flavors.

    4. 4

      The dish is ready

Stir in the thick curd gently. Garnish with minced coriander leaves. The Avial is now ready to be served with Appam or Steamed Rice.
