A new take on traditional winter pesto pasta made from parsley and peanuts instead of basil and pine nuts. Parsley pesto is a great and more affordable version of the traditional basil pesto. Pair with Toasted Bread

Ingredients

  • 160 g Spaghetti
  • 700 ml Water (for boiling)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 Dried Red Chilli (removed)
  • 10 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 50 leaves Parsley (washed)
  • 71 stems Parsley (washed, trimmed)
  • 71 stems Coriander (rootCut)
  • 70 g Roasted Salted Peanuts
  • 70 g Walnut Kernels
  • 30 g Parmesan Cheese Powder
  • 2 tbsp Pomace Olive Oil
  • 30 g Pasta water

Instructions

Add initial ingredients to jar

Add water, spaghetti, and salt to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select boil mode at 95°C for 13 minutes with automatic stirring.

The device will now cut/cook aromatics

The Upliance 2.0 will now automatically cut and sauté the chillies, garlic, and parsley in 4 tbsp of olive oil at 95°C for 30 seconds using the sauté mode. Automatic stirring is engaged.

Add remaining ingredients and blend

Add roasted peanuts, walnuts, parmesan cheese powder, and pasta water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now blend all ingredients at 80°C for 3 minutes using the blend mode with automatic stirring and scraping. Add strained pasta to the jar and mix for 10 seconds at 20°C.

The dish is ready

The Upliance 2.0 will signal completion. Remove the pesto pasta from the jar and serve immediately.
