Ingredients

  • 80 g Masoor Dal (washed and soaked)
  • 200 g Sona Masoori Rice (washed)
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 10 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 2 g Ginger (peeled)
  • 1 piece Onion (cutTwo)
  • 2 pieces Tomato (cutTwo)
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
  • 0.25 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Hing
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • 10 stems Coriander Leaves (rootCut)
  • 2 stems Green Chilli (mince)
  • 0.25 tsp Salt

Instructions

Add aromatics and spices to jar

Add ghee, garlic, ginger, onion, green chilies, turmeric powder, coriander powder, kashmiri mirch, garam masala, hing, and jeera to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select sauté mode at 110°C for 30 seconds with speed 14. The device will now sauté the aromatics.

The device will now cook tomatoes and spices

Add tomatoes to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Set the temperature to 95°C and let Upliance cook with automatic stirring for 300 seconds. The device will now cook the tomatoes and spices.

Add rice and dal to jar

Add soaked dal and rice to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select the cooking mode. Set temperature to 95°C and cook for 1800 seconds (30 minutes) with automatic stirring and scraping. Repeat the cooking process for another 1800 seconds (30 minutes) at 95°C. The device will now cook the khichdi.

The dish is ready

Once cooked, garnish with coriander leaves and ghee in The Upliance 2.0 bowl before serving. The khichdi is ready.
