Rice Idli batter is a fermented batter made from a combination of rice and black gram (also known as urad dal). The rice and black gram are soaked separately and ground into a smooth paste. Idli batter for 2 portions makes 10 idlis
Add washed split urad dal, methi seeds, and 500ml of water to The Upliance 2.0 jar.
The Upliance 2.0 will automatically blend the dal into a smooth paste at a speed of 12 for 30 seconds at 20°C. The device will automatically stir.
Add washed idli rice and 400ml water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The Upliance 2.0 will then blend the rice at a speed of 12 for 30 seconds at 20°C. The device will automatically stir. Then, mix the rice and dal paste together for 60 seconds at speed 10 and 20°C.
The Upliance 2.0 will then ferment the batter at 40°C for 7 hours (25200 seconds). The Idli batter is ready. Do not remove from the jar.
