Ingredients

  • 120 g chickpeas (washed and soaked overnight)
  • 70 g beetroot (cut and peeled)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 green chili (minced)
  • 0.5 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1.5 tbsp tahini paste
  • 0.5 tbsp lemon juice
  • 60 g extra virgin olive oil
  • 35 g coriander leaves (chopped)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Add ingredients to jar

Add chickpeas, beetroot, garlic, green chili, cumin powder, coriander powder, tahini paste, lemon juice, olive oil, coriander leaves, and salt to The Upliance 2.0 jar.

The device will now blend

Select the 'blend' mode on The Upliance 2.0. Set the speed to 6 for 30 seconds, then increase to 8 for 20 seconds and finally to 12 for 5 seconds. The device will automatically stir.

Repeat the above (optional)

If needed for a smoother consistency, repeat the blending process for an additional 10 seconds at speed 10. The Upliance 2.0 will automatically scrape down the sides of the jar.

The beetroot hummus is ready. Transfer from The Upliance 2.0 jar to a serving bowl. Garnish as desired.
