Ingredients

  • 100 g chickpeas (washed, soaked overnight, pressure cooked)
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 5 g green chili (peeled)
  • 5 g ginger (rootCut)
  • 1.5 tsp coriander powder
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.25 tsp hing
  • 0.5 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 5 stems coriander leaves (minced)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp amchur powder
  • 50 g soaked black chickpeas

Instructions

Add aromatics and spices to jar

Add ghee, green chili, and ginger to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select sauté mode at 110°C for 10 minutes with automatic stirring.

The device will now sauté aromatics and spices

Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, hing, cumin seeds, and garam masala to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now sauté for 90 seconds at 90°C with automatic stirring and PID control (kp:25, pidConstant:50).

Add chickpeas and cook

Add the pre-cooked chickpeas, soaked black chickpeas, and salt to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will cook at 95°C for 10 minutes, then continue cooking at 95°C for 180 minutes with automatic stirring and PID control (kp:25, pidConstant:90). Finally, cook for an additional 600 minutes at 95°C with automatic stirring and PID control (kp:25, pidConstant:50).
