A Cambodian dish of braised pork, slow-cooked in a dark, thin, flavourful broth with a sweet and savoury taste. Pair with steamed rice
Add 400g diced pork belly, 3 pieces sliced marinated pork, 1000ml water, and 4 tsp sugar to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select sauté mode at 90°C for 120 seconds. The device will automatically stir.
The Upliance 2.0 will now automatically cook the pork. Set the lid to 'on' and select the 'Cooking Stew' program. The device will maintain a temperature of 95°C for 600 seconds, then 90°C for 600 seconds, and finally 95°C for another 600 seconds with automatic stirring.
Add 120g cut carrot, 1 piece cut onion, 400ml water, 1.5 tbsp dark soy sauce, 0.25 tsp black pepper, 2 star anise, and 4 dried red chilies to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will continue to cook automatically at 95°C for 600 seconds, stirring automatically.
Once cooking is complete, remove the star anise and chilies. The Cambodian Braised Pork Stew is ready. Serve with steamed rice. Garnish and serve from The Upliance 2.0 jar.
