Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Pomace Olive Oil
  • 10 g Onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (peeled and minced)
  • 1 piece Bay Leaf
  • 1 tsp Rosemary (dried or fresh)
  • 200 g Button Mushroom (washed)
  • 140 g Pearl Barley (measured and washed)
  • 600 ml Water
  • 0.75 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 slices Cheese Slice
  • 0.5 tsp Chilli Flakes (Dried or Fresh)

Instructions

Add aromatics to jar

Add olive oil, onion, garlic, bay leaf, and rosemary to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select sauté mode at 95°C for 3 minutes. The device will now sauté the aromatics.

The device will now cook mushrooms

Add mushrooms to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now sauté the mushrooms at 95°C for 5 minutes with automatic stirring.

Add barley, water, and spices

Add pearl barley, water, salt, pepper, and chilli flakes to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Set the device to 95°C for 20 minutes with automatic stirring. Then reduce temperature to 90°C for 14 minutes and stir at a higher speed. Finally reduce temperature to 70°C for 10 minutes and stir at a higher speed.

The dish is ready

Let the risotto sit in The Upliance 2.0 jar for 5 minutes. Garnish with cheese and remaining rosemary. The dish is ready to be served.
