Ingredients

  • 80 g Moong Dal Split - Yellow (washed and soaked overnight)
  • 400 ml Water
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • 0.25 tsp Hing
  • 3 g Ginger (peeled)
  • 6 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 1 piece Green Chilli (removed)
  • 50 g Onion (cutTwo)
  • 50 g Tomato (92da94e0-b2ee-4e46-8324-00bcfa404fbb)
  • 0.25 tsp Turmeric
  • 0.5 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 stems Mint Leaves
  • 4 leaves Coriander Leaves (cleaned)
  • 0.5 tbsp Lemon Juice (squeeze)

Instructions

Add aromatics and spices to jar

Add Ghee, Jeera, Hing, Ginger, Garlic, Green Chilli, Onion, and Turmeric to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select sauté mode at 120°C for 30 seconds. The device will now sauté the aromatics.

The device will now cook the Dal

Add soaked Dal and water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Set temperature to 120°C and let Upliance cook for 5 minutes with automatic stirring (stirDuty: 6, stirAngle: 140). Then, continue cooking at 120°C for 300 seconds with automatic stirring (stirDuty: 6, stirAngle: 140). Finally, continue cooking at 120°C for 900 seconds with automatic stirring (stirDuty: 6, stirAngle: 140).

Add Tomatoes and Spices

Add Tomato and Garam Masala to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now cook the tomatoes and spices with the dal. Set to 120°C for 120 seconds, then 60 seconds at speed 3 and 240 seconds at speed 3. Stir and scrape the bottom of the jar. Finally, stir at speed 12 for 10 seconds.

Garnish and Serve

Add Mint Leaves and Coriander Leaves to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Stir gently. Add Lemon Juice. The Dal Fry is ready to be served.
