Ingredients

  • 140 g Sona Masoori Rice (soaked for 1 hour)
  • 2 tbsp Refined Oil
  • 1 inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 1.5 tsp Tamarind Paste
  • 0.5 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1.5 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 Dried Red Chilli
  • 15 Curry Leaves (washed)
  • To taste Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 0.25 tsp Hing
  • 210 g Tomato (chopped)
  • 4 stem Coriander Leaves (minced)
  • 450 ml Water

Instructions

Add Spices and Oil to Jar

Add refined oil, cinnamon stick, mustard seeds, hing, dried red chilli, and curry leaves to The Upliance 2.0 jar.

Sauté Spices

The device will now sauté the spices at 120°C for 1 minute with automatic stirring at speed 14.

Add Tomatoes and Spices

Add chopped tomatoes, tamarind paste, coriander powder, kashmiri mirch, garam masala, and salt to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Set the device to sauté mode at 120°C for 5 minutes with automatic stirring at speed 3.

Cook Tomato Rice

Add soaked rice and water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The dish is ready when cooked at 120°C for 4 minutes, then 120°C for 14 minutes, with automatic stirring.
