A popular South Indian rice recipe, tomato rice can be made easily with leftover rice, tomatoes, and a bunch of spices. Pair with Raita/Curd
Add refined oil, curry leaves, dried red chilli, mustard seeds, hing, and cinnamon stick to The Upliance jar to begin the tempering process.
The device will sauté the spices on medium heat. Once fragrant, add tomatoes, salt, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and tamarind paste. The Upliance will cook the masala base on medium-high heat for 5 minutes with automatic stirring.
Add the drained soaked rice and fresh water to the jar. The device will cook the mixture on low heat for approximately 27 minutes, ensuring the rice cooks evenly without burning.
The Tomato Rice is now cooked. Garnish with minced coriander leaves and serve hot with Raita or Curd.
Skip the knife work. Add the ingredients and let Upliance handle the rest.
No more standing over the stove. Upliance stirs your dish perfectly.
