Ingredients

  • 360 ml Water
  • 0.25 tsp Salt (no prep)
  • 140 g Sticky Rice (no prep)
  • 10 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 3 Spring Onions (removed)
  • 200 g Button Mushrooms (washed)
  • 3 tbsp Refined Oil (no prep)
  • 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce (no prep)
  • 1 tsp Sugar (no prep)
  • 0.25 tsp Dried Red Chilli (no prep)
  • 1 tbsp Roasted Sesame Oil (no prep)
  • 20 g Spring Onion Whites (White part)
  • 10 g Iceberg Lettuce (washed)

Instructions

Add initial ingredients to jar

Add water, salt, and rice to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select the boil setting at 95°C for 12 minutes with the lid on. The device will automatically stir.

The device will now cut and cook aromatics and mushrooms

The Upliance 2.0 will automatically sauté the garlic and spring onions at 95°C for 30 seconds. Then, add the mushrooms and cook for 6 minutes at 95°C with automatic stirring. The device will then continue to cook the mushrooms for an additional 5 minutes at 95°C with automatic stirring.

Add seasonings and finalize

Add soy sauce, sugar, and chili to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will stir and cook for an additional 5 minutes at 95°C. Then, add roasted sesame oil and stir for 30 seconds.

The dish is ready

Transfer the cooked rice to a bowl. Plate the mushroom mixture over the rice and garnish with the prepared spring onion oil and lettuce. The dish is ready to serve.
