Ingredients

  • 70 g Split Urad Dal (washed)
  • 26 g Chana Dal (washed)
  • 0.5 tsp Methi Seeds
  • 500 ml Water
  • 255 g Idli Rice (washed)
  • 400 ml Water
  • 50 ml Water
  • 30 g Medium Poha (sieved and washed)

Instructions

Add ingredients to jar

Add washed Split Urad Dal, Chana Dal, Methi Seeds, and 500ml of water to The Upliance 2.0 jar.

The device will now blend the dal

The Upliance 2.0 will automatically blend the ingredients into a smooth paste using its high-speed blending function for approximately 80 seconds at speed 12.

Repeat the above with rice

Add washed Idli Rice and 400ml of water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The Upliance 2.0 will blend the rice into a smooth batter. Add Poha and remaining water. Blend for another 60 seconds at speed 10.

The Dosa batter is ready

The Upliance 2.0 will automatically stir the combined batter for 60 seconds at speed 10 to ensure a consistent mixture. The dosa batter is now ready for fermentation. Transfer the batter to a separate container and let it ferment for 7 hours at 45°C.
