Ingredients

  • 80 g Moong Dal Split - Yellow (washed and soaked)
  • 400 ml Water
  • 50 g Gongura (trimmed)
  • 2 tbsp Refined Oil
  • 1 tsp Green Chilli (minced)
  • 0.25 tsp Turmeric
  • 0.25 tsp Hing
  • 0.5 tsp Jeera
  • 0.5 tsp Coriander Leaves (minced)
  • 3 g Ginger (peeled)
  • 6 cloves Garlic (peeled)
  • 1 piece Garam Masala (removed)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Add ingredients to jar

Add soaked moong dal, water, oil, green chillies, turmeric, hing, jeera, coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, and garam masala to The Upliance 2.0 jar.

The device will now sauté and cook

Select the sauté mode on The Upliance 2.0 at 100°C for 30 seconds. The device will automatically stir the spices. Then, add the gongura and select the sauté mode at 95°C for 3 minutes with automatic stirring. The Upliance 2.0 will then automatically cook the dal at 95°C for 15 minutes with automatic stirring. Finally, the device will simmer at 20°C for 10 minutes.

No further ingredients are needed. The Upliance 2.0 will continue the cooking process automatically.

Once the cooking cycle is complete, The Upliance 2.0 will indicate completion. Season with salt to taste. Garnish with additional coriander leaves if desired. The Moong Dal with Gongura is ready to serve.
