    Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp Ghee
    • 1 piece Bay Leaf
    • 2 pieces Black Cardamom
    • 2 pieces Clove
    • 1 tsp Jeera
    • 0.25 tsp Hing
    • 10 cloves Garlic (peeled)
    • 5 g Ginger (peeled)
    • 170 g Onion (cut in four)
    • 1 piece Green Chilli (stem removed)
    • 10 stems Coriander Leaves (root cut)
    • 1 tsp Garam Masala
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 1.25 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
    • 0.25 tsp Turmeric
    • 2 tsp Coriander Powder
    • 400 g Chicken (curry cut/washed)
    • 100 g Water
    • 60 g Curd
    • 10 g Butter
    • 1 tsp Kasoori Methi

    Instructions

    This traditional North-Indian style, one-pot Chicken Curry is made with onion and tomatoes, and uses regular spices that are easily available in your kitchen. Pair this curry with steamed rice, naan or appam.

      Add whole spices to jar

      Add ghee, bay leaf, black cardamom, cloves, jeera, and hing to The Upliance jar.

      The device will temper the spices on high heat for 1 minute. Then add onions, garlic, ginger, green chillies, and coriander stems. The Upliance will automatically chop the aromatics and sauté the base.

      Add chicken, powdered spices, water, curd, and butter to The Upliance jar. The device will cook the curry on medium to high heat for approximately 35 minutes using automatic stirring to ensure the chicken is tender.
