Besan Cheela is a delicious and healthy savory Indian pancake recipe made with nutty gram flour (besan), sweet onions, tangy tomatoes, fragrant spices and herbs. Fill the batter with your favorite grated vegetables to make your meal more nutritious. This batter makes 2 cheelas per person
Add Onion, Garlic, Green Chilli, Tomato, Jeera, Turmeric, Coriander Leaves, and Kashmiri Mirch to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will automatically weigh and track ingredients.
Add Besan flour and water to the jar. Select the 'mix' mode on The Upliance 2.0. Set the speed to 1 and mix for 60 seconds at 20°C. The Upliance 2.0 will automatically stir the batter until smooth.
Add 0.25 tbsp of Refined Oil to the pan. Pour one ladle of the batter onto the heated pan. The Upliance 2.0 will automatically maintain the temperature and stir to ensure even cooking. Wait for the surface to dry out. Flip the Cheela to cook the other side. Repeat for desired number of cheelas.
Once both sides are cooked, remove the Cheela from the pan. Serve immediately. Your Cheela is ready!
