Add the leek (removed), leek (washed), and garlic (peeled) to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now cut the aromatics using the "Cutting Aromatics" setting (12 seconds at speed 12, 20°C).
The Upliance 2.0 will now sauté the aromatics for 90 seconds at 95°C using the "Sautéing Aromatics" setting and speed 14 with automatic stirring. Meanwhile, prep other ingredients.
Add potatoes (peeled), potatoes, water, rosemary, garam masala, green chili, black pepper, butter, and olive oil to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now cook the soup using the "Cooking Soup" setting: First, 10 seconds at speed 1, 20°C; then a PID controlled heating phase (kp 25, pidConstant 90, 1200 seconds at speed 13, 95°C); followed by another PID controlled phase (kp 25, pidConstant 50, 300 seconds at speed 1, 90°C); finally, 10 seconds at speed 8, 20°C. Add milk after the cooking is finished.
The Upliance 2.0 will automatically stir the soup. If the soup is too thick, add 100g of water using the "Optional Step for Thinning out soup" instruction and let the device stir for an additional 120 seconds at 95°C using the "Thinning out the soup" setting at speed 1 with stirDuty 6 and stirAngle 140. Garnish with remaining leek (washed) and black pepper as desired. The Leek Potato Soup is ready.
