Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 0.5 tsp mustard seeds
  • 10 curry leaves (chopped)
  • 0.25 tsp hing
  • 1 green chili (finely chopped)
  • 100 g suji (roasted)
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • 40 g frozen peas (washed)
  • 350 ml water
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • 4 stems coriander leaves (chopped)

Instructions

Add spices and aromatics to jar

Add ghee, mustard seeds, curry leaves, hing, and green chili to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select sauté mode at 120°C for 2 minutes until fragrant. The Upliance 2.0 will automatically stir.

The device will now sauté and cook vegetables

Add ginger and peas to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now cook the vegetables using automatic stirring and maintain a temperature of 100°C for 5 minutes.

Add Suji and water and cook Upma

Add roasted suji and water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now cook the Upma at 100°C for 15 minutes with automatic stirring. Add salt and sugar to taste.

The dish is ready

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. The Upma is ready to serve. The Upliance 2.0 will automatically keep the Upma warm.
