Ingredients

  • 50 g Sona Masoori Rice (washed)
  • 60 g Moong Dal Split - Yellow (washed)
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 10 Raisins
  • 10 Almonds
  • 10 Cashews
  • 70 g Jaggery (shaved)
  • 500 ml Water

Instructions

Add ingredients to jar

Add washed rice, washed moong dal, ghee, raisins, almonds, cashews and jaggery to The Upliance 2.0 jar.

The device will now sauté and cook

The Upliance 2.0 will automatically sauté the dry fruits in ghee at 110°C for 90 seconds using the sauté mode. Then, it will automatically cook the rice and dal in water at 95°C for 2040 seconds using the automatic cooking mode with the lid on. The device will stir automatically throughout the process.

Repeat the above (optional)

If desired, add more water to adjust consistency during the cooking process. Monitor the cooking process through the Upliance 2.0 interface and adjust cooking time as needed.

The dish is ready

Once cooked, The Upliance 2.0 will signal completion. Garnish with additional almonds as desired and serve the Sakkarai Pongal warm from The Upliance 2.0 jar.
