    Ingredients

    • 50 g Moong Dal Split - Yellow (soaked for 4 hours)
    • 60 g Sona Masoori Rice (soaked for 4 hours)
    • 2 tbsp Ghee
    • 10 Cashews
    • 10 Almonds
    • 10 Raisins
    • 70 g Jaggery (shaved)
    • 500 ml Water

    Prepare the garnish

    Add ghee, cashews, almonds, and raisins to The Upliance jar.

    Sauté the nuts

    The device will now sauté the dry fruits on medium heat for 1 minute with automatic stirring. Remove the fried ingredients and set aside.

    Cook the Pongal

    Add the soaked rice, moong dal, shaved jaggery, and water to the jar. The device will cook the mixture on medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring continuously to create a creamy texture.

    Serve

    The dish is ready. Garnish with the fried dry fruits set aside earlier and serve hot.
