Daliya Dal Khichdi is a complete meal in itself. Made with rice and lentils, khichdi is healthy, wholesome and a comfort food. This recipe is also gluten-free. It can be made vegan by replacing the ghee with oil.
Add Daliya, Moong Dal, Ghee, Hing, Jeera, Turmeric, Kashmiri Mirch, Salt, and Water to The Upliance 2.0 jar.
Select The Upliance 2.0's "Cook Dal" mode at 95°C for 600 seconds with automatic stirring. The device will then automatically switch to a lower temperature (50) for the final 720 seconds of cooking.
Add Onion, Green Chilli, Garlic, and Tomato to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select The Upliance 2.0's "Sauté" mode at 95°C for 300 seconds with automatic stirring and scraping. Then add the frozen mixed vegetables and cook for an additional 600 seconds at 95°C with automatic stirring.
Once cooking is complete, garnish with 1 tbsp Ghee and 4 stems of minced Coriander Leaves in The Upliance 2.0 jar. The Daliya Khichdi is ready to serve.
