Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 2 inches cinnamon stick
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 black cardamom (remove outer shell)
  • 140 g basmati rice (washed)
  • 150 g frozen peas (washed)
  • 150 g sweet corn (washed)
  • 1.25 tsp coriander powder
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Kashmiri Mirch
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 400 ml water
  • 4 stems coriander leaves (minced)

Instructions

Add aromatics and spices to jar

Add ghee, cinnamon stick, bay leaves, and black cardamom to The Upliance 2.0 jar. Select sauté mode at 110°C for 30 seconds. The device will now sauté the spices using automatic stirring.

Add vegetables and sauté

Add frozen peas and sweet corn to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now sauté the vegetables with spices at 95°C for 10 minutes using automatic stirring.

Add rice and water to jar

Add washed rice and water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now cook the pulao at 95°C for 30 minutes with automatic stirring, then simmer for 10 minutes. Repeat the cooking process for a total cooking time of 20 minutes.

Rest and serve

Remove the Jain Vegetable Pulao from The Upliance 2.0 jar. Let it rest for 10 minutes to fluff. Garnish with minced coriander leaves. The dish is ready.
