Add washed rice, washed moong dal, water, and ghee to The Upliance 2.0 jar.
Select the "Cooking Pongal" preset on The Upliance 2.0. The device will automatically cook the rice and dal at 95°C for approximately 70 minutes with automatic stirring.
Add ginger, green chili, ghee, dried red chilies, cumin seeds, curry leaves, cashews, asafoetida, and black pepper to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now sauté the spices at 110°C for 2 minutes with automatic stirring. If Pongal is watery, use the "Fix Watery Pongal" preset to reduce excess water.
Garnish with coriander leaves. The Upliance 2.0 will signal completion. The Ven Pongal is ready to serve.
