Modak is a traditional Indian sweet dumpling, often associated with Lord Ganesha. These steamed or fried treats have a rice flour or wheat dough exterior filled with a sweet mixture, usually made from jaggery and coconut.
Add 3 g Jaggery Powder and 1 tbsp Grated Coconut to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now cook the filling using sauté mode at 110°C for 30 minutes with automatic stirring.
Add 10 tbsp Rice Flour and 236 g Water to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now mix the dough using a kneading setting for 1 minute. Grease your palms with 0.5 tbsp Ghee
Add 150 grams Jaggery Powder, 100 g Grated Coconut, and 1.5 tsp Green Cardamom Powder to The Upliance 2.0 jar. The device will now cook the filling using simmer mode at 95°C for 300 seconds with automatic stirring, followed by 90°C for another 300 seconds with increased stirring speed.
The Upliance 2.0 will steam the Modak at 95°C for 600 seconds with the lid on. Allow to cool before serving.
